Digital Forensics

Snownet is proud to offer our Digital forensics department for contract to Security Agencies, Police Departments & Private Investigators. Snownet’s advanced team of computer system experts are trained in encryption, security, steganography, logging usage, data recovery and much more.

Digital evidence can be collected from many sources. Obvious sources include computers, cell phones, digital cameras, hard drives, CD-ROM, USB memory devices, and so on.  All digital evidence must be analyzed to determine the type of information that is stored upon it. For this purpose, specialty tools are used that can display information in a format useful to investigators. For security reasons, the software Snownet uses for this collection cannot be disclosed.

Once the analysis is complete, a report is generated. This report may be a written report, oral testimony, media containing files or some combination of the three.
